We make sure all our new patients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. During your first visit, Dr. Goldwater will provide an overview of the beliefs and methods of treatments she utilizes.  She will also adress your motivation and willingness to invest time and energy in the process of change you are interested in.  If the relationship seems to be a good fit, you will find yourself engaged in a semi-structured conversation with the goal to identify your major strengths and competencies, and the areas you would like to change.  The information gathered will help set treatment goals and actionable activities (such as reading books, journaling, and collecting data from your lif) that will help with more conclusive diagnosis and a treatment plan.
